SEN Teaching Assistant - Part Time
Middlesbrough TS8 area - £14.85 per hour
Vision for Education is looking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a primary school in the Middlesbrough area.
This part time Teaching Assistant role is 2-3 days a week from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, working a dual role of a 1:1 TA in a SEND base and also working with small groups for intervention. The role will commence September 2026.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will provide a high standard of support for a small group of KS1/2 children in interventions and 1:1 within a SEND base. Must be flexible to changing environments and work within small intervention groups.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning in schools.
- Experience in a SEND environment is essential.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
- Experience working with small nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Experience supporting children in primary education.
