Art Teacher

An 'Outstanding' school is Merton is looking for an Art Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2026. The school teaches various Art subjects such as Art & Design, Graphic Design, and Photography at GCSE and A Level and is looking for someone with a specialism in one of these areas.

Inner London MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience),
September 2026 - Full-time and permanent contract,
Teach across KS3,4, and 5
Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance,
Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons,
ECT's and experienced teachers encouraged,

Art Teacher - Person Specification

UK QTS - Essential
Strong understanding of teaching standards,
Art related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university,
If not a degree strong experience in a relevant field,
Ambitious and driven personality,
Great communication skills,
Desire to progress.
