The Role
The successful candidate will primarily work with small groups of Year 8 students, delivering engaging and accessible Maths lessons tailored to varying abilities and learning needs.
The remainder of the timetable will include:
- Dedicated planning and preparation time
- General supply cover across the school when required
This varied timetable offers an excellent opportunity to build relationships across the school community while maintaining a manageable teaching load.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable educator who:
- Holds QTS or relevant UK teaching qualifications
- Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Is confident managing small groups and differentiating learning
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to different classroom environments
- Has strong behaviour management skills
