Why This Role?
This is not a standard classroom support position. You will be working with primary and secondary aged pupils (5-16) who need a mentor, role model and trusted adult to guide them through difficult circumstances.
Many of these young people face challenges linked to:

Your role will be vital in helping them regulate emotions, build resilience and make positive life choices.
What You Will Do
- Build meaningful and trusting relationships with pupils
- Use restorative approaches to encourage safe decision making
- Provide targeted support in small class groups (4-12 pupils)
- Play a key role in protecting young people from criminal exploitation
What We Are Looking For
- Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Youth Work or similar subjects (or those with relevant experience)
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
- Empathy, patience and resilience when managing challenging behaviour
- Previous experience with at risk youth is desirable, but full training will be provided
What You Will Gain
- Specialist training in County Lines prevention, trauma informed care and restorative practices
- Career building experience for roles in Youth Justice, Social Work or Advocacy
- Support and guidance from a dedicated school environment
- The opportunity to make a real difference in young lives every day
