Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher to join our team for the academic year. This role involves teaching 2 days a week (must include Fridays) and taking on subject leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for part time management of the class, ensuring a high standard of education and well being for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Take on subject leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
- Participate in school events and activities as required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead a subject area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the ethos and values of Etchingham CE Primary School.
