About the Role
A forward thinking primary school in Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teacher to take on a Year 5 class from January 2026. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best, while maintaining strong routines and a positive classroom culture. Key Responsibilities
- Teach a Year 5 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum.
- Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with national expectations.
- Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
