Tameside College is looking to recruit a Teacher in Carpentry and Joinery.
Responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs, whilst assessing learners' progress in College or on work experience and devising assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- An enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent) in Carpentry and/or Joinery.
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education / PGCE / Bachelor of Education, or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
- Relevant assessment qualifications - IQA / A1 / V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
- Experienced, strong team player with excellent communication skills.
