The Education Specialists are working closely with a number of primary schools across the Knowsley area who require motivated and reliable KS1 Teachers for flexible supply work. This includes both planned cover and last minute absences.
In this role, you will confidently step into the classroom, deliver engaging and creative lessons, and ensure pupils remain focused and supported in their early learning journey. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity and a positive learning environment while adapting to different school settings.
You will be expected to uphold high teaching standards, follow safeguarding procedures, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities of a KS1 Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support early literacy, numeracy, and phonics development.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive strategies.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet individual needs.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and staff.
Who Can Apply to be a KS1 Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within KS1.
- Strong knowledge of phonics and early years learning.
- A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
