Teacher of English
Location: Croydon
Start: April 2026
Contract: Permanent (MPS/UPS with Outer London Allowance)
Responsibilities
- Teach Year 7-A Level in both English Language and Literature.
- Use creativity to develop rich and exciting lessons for all pupils.
- Bring innovative ideas to the classroom and demonstrate a strong record of raising student attainment.
- Work within a mixed ability department from KS3 to KS5 and support the implementation of the KS3 curriculum.
- Collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues on planning and sharing resources.
- Model the school's pastoral care and Christian ethos.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure and overseas police clearances (if applicable).
- Provide a CV covering full work history.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
