Role Overview
Aspire People is partnering with a large SEND school in Stockport, SK2, to recruit a Teaching Assistant with a background in sports coaching. The role involves supporting identified pupils, many of whom have Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
Applicants should be confident and resilient in supporting pupils with SEMH needs, committed to understanding the 'bigger picture', and able to build relationships with pupils who may be resistant to education.
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 08:20 to 15:30, term time only, on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year with the possibility of permanent employment the following year.
