About the Role
A well-established and highly respected land-based education provider in South Cheshire is seeking a passionate Lecturer / Course Manager in Forestry & Arboriculture to join its dynamic Land and Environment department.
Set within a stunning rural campus spanning over 300 hectares of farms, parkland, lakes, and woodland, this is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of land-based professionals in a unique and practical learning environment.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging teaching and hands-on training, while supporting learners to develop the skills needed for careers in forestry, arboriculture, and related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and practical training across forestry and arboriculture
- Assess learners using a range of methods in line with awarding body requirements
- Undertake course management duties including tutorials, pastoral care, and safeguarding
- Build strong relationships with employers to enhance recruitment and progression opportunities
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Level 3 qualification (minimum) in Forestry, Arboriculture, or a related field
- Proven industry experience within a land-based environment
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication, organisational, and planning skills
- Genuine passion for supporting learners and professional development
