Overview
CISRS Scaffolding Instructor/Assessor/Skills Coach (LASC – Waltham Forest) – SIMIAN
We are seeking to add to our team of CISRS Instructors in Waltham Forest. We are looking to recruit Scaffolders or existing CISRS Instructors who wish to progress their careers and share their skills and experience with others progressing in the industry.
As a provider rated as ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted, we offer a competitive package that includes target earnings of £70k p/a, 30 days annual leave, a five-day week and a stakeholder pension.
Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, encourage and develop apprentice scaffolders by carrying out periodic reviews of their progress. This work will be centre- and site-based.
- Support the instructor development plan and undertake training and assessment activities to progress individuals towards full CISRS qualification.
Qualifications
- Qualified to CISRS Advanced Scaffolder level and have held that qualification for a minimum of five years; or
- Qualified to CISRS Scaffolder level and have been so for a minimum of 10 years.
Development & Training
Full training and mentoring will be provided, with development aimed at returning fully qualified CISRS Instructors within one year of commencing employment.
Location & Travel
Candidates must be based within a commutable distance of our Leytonstone centre; accommodation and travel allowance are not available for this role. Travel to other SIMIAN centres and overnight stays away from home (initially in week-long blocks) will be required for those in development.
