We are urgently seeking a Lecturer to cover Early Years [post 16] courses in Dorset. This role is open to candidates with a background in Early Years or Health and Social Care, capable of teaching Level 1 and 2. We offer flexible employment terms, including temporary and permanent contracts, full-time, part-time, and hourly paid options.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to post-16 students in Early Years or Health and Social Care.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements for Level 1 and 2.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student learning and development.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate best practices into teaching methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Early Years, Health and Social Care, or a related field.
- Experience in lecturing or teaching at post-16 education level, preferably in Early Years or Health and Social Care.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching requirements for Level 1 and 2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student groups.
