Lecturer (Teaching) in Robotics and AI
The post-holder would be expected to teach up to three modules per year on several MEng/MSc programmes in the context of Robotics & AI and to contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and associated administrative tasks. Areas that we aim at covering include but are not limited to:
- Sensor fusion and scene understanding;
- Networking, real-time operating systems and security;
- SLAM;
- Multi-agent systems;
- Sampling and data analysis.
Applicants should explicitly state the areas to which they can contribute to MEng/MSc Robotics and AI, supported by evidence of a strong publication track record.
Candidates are required to submit two files:
- CV (no longer than 6 pages) which includes a list of your teaching experience and your roles and responsibilities in the modules/courses you have taught.
A single file, of no more than 10 pages, which combines your personal, teaching, research and diversity statements.
You should have a PhD in Robotics, AI, or a closely related field and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding across a range of core topics including robotics, control, machine learning, sensor fusion, and other topics related to real-world deployment of robotic systems.
