We seek to appoint a Lecturer (T&S) in Digital, Creative and Social Media to teach, develop curricula, provide scholarship contributions to our education and hold expertise in digital, creative and social media practices. Working in a research-based context, you will create innovative opportunities for students to develop scholarship-informed practical skills. Your profile may demonstrate engagement with industry, external partners or third sector. We are open to hearing from candidates with a wide range of critically informed expertise. This might include but is not limited to expertise in creative and media content production and strategy; digital marketing, promotion and campaigns; data analytics; and/or user/audience engagement and development.
You will be expected to ensure that your teaching reflects current scholarship and professional practice and have an understanding of creative pedagogy. You will be expected to contribute to quality assurance processes, including student tracking and progression. With proven ability to teach in Higher Education, you will possess the ability and experience to familiarise students with current practice across creative and digital media and creative media platforms. You may have professional experience of creative, digital and social media practice relevant to students seeking employment, and a good knowledge of industry requirements.
