Location: Bayton
We are seeking Assistive Technology Trainers across the UK, with urgent locations in Canterbury, Staffordshire, Cardiff, and London. The role involves providing training in assistive technology (software and hardware) to disabled individuals and those with specific learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger’s, autism, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and dyspraxia, in educational or workplace settings. Trainers will deliver tailored training based on individual learner needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct initial assessments to determine individual requirements based on their disabilities.
• Train clients on the use of specific software or hardware as recommended in referrals, providing training if necessary.
• Learn new assistive software and hardware as required.
• Attend relevant training sessions and meetings to develop skills.
• Maintain flexibility in working hours.
• Ensure punctuality and professionalism.
• Represent Onyx Student Support with high standards of presentation.
Location: Support is provided across all UK colleges and universities. You will receive referrals within your local area or preferred working radius.
Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, but experience in IT, technology, or computing is preferred. Experience in tutoring or training is also advantageous.
