About the Role:
Direct Partners is at the heart of Scotland’s digital skills agenda. Due to the demand for our increasingly popular Data Analytics SVQ, we are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and organised Data Analytics Trainer to join our team.
This is a role for those who are passionate about driving digital transformation. We need someone who lives and breathes data, has proven experience in SQL and Python, and is passionate about helping learners bridge the gap between theory and industry practice.
What you'll do:
• Expert Delivery: Lead the delivery and assessment of our Data Analytics SVQ and SCQF8 qualifications, focusing heavily on Python and technical data modules.
• Learner Mentorship: Support a diverse caseload of learners from start to finish, providing high-quality feedback and ensuring they hit their milestones.
• Industry Alignment: Stay ahead of the curve. You will integrate the latest industry trends and technological shifts into your training to keep our learners competitive.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all assessments meet rigorous awarding body standards while maintaining efficient, organised records of learner progress.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our growing team to refine our curriculum and help shape the future of data training in Scotland.
What we're looking for:
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in Data Analytics and Python is essential. You should be comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to those new to the field.
• Educational Background: Proven experience in training, assessment, or coaching (ideally within an SVQ/Work-based learning framework).
• Effective Mindset: You need to be efficient, proactive, and ready to manage a full-time caseload from day one.
• Passion for Tech: A genuine interest in digital transformation and how data is reshaping the global economy.
• Organisation: Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work both independently in a hybrid environment and collaboratively with our team of trainers.
Why join Direct Partners:
Make a difference: Join a provider at the forefront of digital skills development in Scotland.
Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid working model based out of our Edinburgh hub.
Growth: We are expanding rapidly; you’ll be joining a welcoming, forward-thinking team where your input directly impacts our growth.
