We are looking for a dedicated and progressive educator and role model to lead our written assessments and support medical students who are struggling to make academic progress. As Senior Lecturer in Medical Education (Lead for Written Assessment and Academic Support) you can expect to be involved in:
- Contributing to and influencing the development of written assessment content throughout the KMMS BMBS programme
- Supporting the subject module leaders and administrative staff in development, maintenance and delivery of all written assessments
- Devising, developing and delivering academic support to students at-risk of failing or who have failed assessments
What will you bring to the role?
- A primary and postgraduate degree in a medical specialty or in a subject closely related to the KMMS BMBS programme
- Experience of successful assessment design, implementation and evaluation in medical education
- Experience and understanding of supporting healthcare professional students/trainees with academic difficulties
