Role Description
Weir Training Limited is seeking a Qualified Apprenticeship Assessor for a full-time hybrid role. Based in Chobham with flexibility to work remotely, the Assessor will guide and assess Apprentices towards successful completion of their qualifications. Daily responsibilities include delivering high-quality support, conducting workplace assessments, tracking learner progress, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with all qualification and Ofsted requirements. The role requires collaboration with both learners and employers to ensure training aligns with professional standards and industry needs.
Qualifications and Experience
• A relevant assessor qualification, such as A1, AQTA, or CAVA, or equivalent experience in assessing vocational training.
• Supervisory background for a minimum of 2 years
• Proficiency in providing 1:1 learner support, including training, mentoring, and progress tracking.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills to effectively coordinate with learners and Employer Partners.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and sector-specific compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using digital systems and tools to record, deliver, and monitor performance.
• Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to travel to local employer sites as needed.
• Experience in education or training within business sectors is advantageous.
