We are looking for an Apprenticeship Adviserto play a key role in delivering an excellent apprentice experience and supporting the University’s education and skills strategy. You will work closely with apprentices, employers and colleagues across the University to support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing progress throughout the apprenticeship journey. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help ensure apprentices are supported academically and professionally, while also building strong partnerships with employers across a range of sectors.
As an Apprenticeship Adviser you can expect to be involved in:
- Working with employers to support apprenticeship recruitment and admissions, including screening, interviewing and placing apprentices
- Managing the apprentice onboarding and induction process and supporting apprentices and employers throughout the programme to ensure a positive and successful apprenticeship experience
- Promoting higher and degree apprenticeship opportunities to employers across a range of sectors and supporting employer engagement activities
- Operating systems to monitor apprentice progress and maintain accurate records and evidence, ensuring apprenticeship programmes are compliant
What will you bring to the role?
- A degree or equivalent experience in a similar role within the HE or FE sector, with GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
- Experience supporting, mentoring and monitoring apprentices, with an understanding of apprenticeship standards and funding models
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with apprentices, employers and colleagues while managing competing priorities
