We are looking for a lecturer to join the STEM faculty to join our growing team of Engineering lecturers. Our recently constructed T level building includes three purpose-built engineering workshops, including an electronics and materials testing lab, a design and 3D printing lab, and a workshop with CNC capability. This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher, or someone looking to move into a career in teaching from prior work in the Engineering industry. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop their passion for education within a supportive and quickly developing area, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and delivery of the innovative T levels. The post holder will be expected to:
- Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision
- Work with the STEM Faculty and with enrichment staff to create provision that excites and stimulates demand
Candidates should have a commitment to providing high quality learning to enable all learners to achieve their full potential. The ability to truly work as a team player is also essential. The post-holder will be expected to demonstrate outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills.
