About the Role
Rehability UK is offering an exciting opportunity for two Support Worker Apprentices to join the team at Malvern Crossing in Tewkesbury.
This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in adult social care while completing a Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.
You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex care requirements, helping them to live as independently as possible while providing the care and support they need.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals within the service
- Assist service users with daily living tasks and personal care where required
- Encourage individuals to develop independence and life skills
- Support participation in activities and social engagement
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff
- Promote health, safety and wellbeing at all times
- Follow safeguarding procedures and organisational policies
- Work alongside experienced support workers while completing apprenticeship training
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, with both day and night roles available.
Typical shift patterns may include:
Day shifts:
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
- 8:00am – 8:00pm
Night shifts:
Flexibility to work weekends and varying shift patterns is required.
Requirements

Essential:
- Willingness to complete the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship
Previous care experience is not essential, but an interest in health and social care is important.
Apprenticeship Training
You will complete the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, gaining knowledge and practical experience in:
- Person-centred care
- Safeguarding and duty of care
- Communication and professional care practice
- Supporting independence and wellbeing
Career Progression
Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to:
- A permanent Support Worker role
- Progression to a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship
- Further career opportunities within Rehability UK
