CONTRACT 37 hours per week

About the role

Shropshire Libraries have an exciting vacancy for a Library Operations & Development
Manager based at Oswestry Library. The role has responsibility for the delivery of library
services in Oswestry, including management of the staff team, premises management,
and working with partners to enhance the quality and breadth of services offered.

Alongside this the Operations & Development Manager works as part of the wider
Libraries team to develop countywide initiatives and projects. In this context the role has
a crucial part to play in moving Shropshire Libraries forward as a service, and ensuring
that we are delivering the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve.

About you

The post holder will need a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities, with the
resilience to respond effectively to emerging challenges and multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work
with a wide range of partners, engage with library users, and to lead the staff team at
Oswestry Library.
