Are you a hands-on, creative with a passion for helping others bring their ideas to life? Do you love the smell of fresh clay, the spark of metalwork, and the buzz of a busy studio?
If so… we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and brilliantly practical Learning Support Technician to join our Art & Design team, someone who can guide, demonstrate, experiment, and support across an exciting mix of 3D disciplines.
Scope and responsibilities:
You’ll be right in the heart of our creative studios, helping to make magic happen. Your days will include:
• Demonstrating processes in ceramics, small metals, wood, and plaster
• Supporting students and staff to work safely, creatively, and confidently
• Preparing materials & equipment so every workshop is ready to go
• Keeping our studios organised and our equipment in top form
• Championing health and safety (PPE chic is always in fashion)
• Helping to set up exhibitions and showcasing the incredible work produced
No two days will ever be the same, one moment you might be showing a student how to cast in plaster, the next you're helping set up a kiln, and later you could be sanding down a sculpture for display. It’s hands-on, it’s creative, and it’s genuinely rewarding!
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
• Passionate about 3D art & design
• Confident using workshop tools and processes
• A great communicator and natural problem solver
• Super organised and proactive
• Excited to support learners at all levels
If you’ve got practical skills, a can-do attitude, and love being part of a vibrant creative environment, we want to hear from you!
Ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in?
Apply now and help shape the next generation of makers, designers, and creative thinkers!
