We are delighted to offer an exciting temporary opportunity for the upcoming academic year (2025/26) to join our team as a NEET Lecturer/Keyworker within our Foundation Learning department.
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and pastoral support to young people who are not currently in education, employment, or training. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective teaching across Employability Skills, PSHE, and Tutorial sessions
- Providing high-quality training tailored to learners’ individual needs
- Supporting and motivating learners to achieve their goals, develop key life skills, and make positive progression
- Contributing to a supportive and encouraging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional who can inspire disengaged learners and help them reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject
- A PGCE, Cert.Ed., or equivalent teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one within 12 months)
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grades A–C (or equivalent)
- Experience in teaching and/or assessing
- Proven experience supporting disengaged or vulnerable young people
- The ability to work collaboratively with external agencies, parents, and carers
