As a Lecturer in Therapeutic Radiography, you will deliver engaging, research-informed teaching across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will lead and coordinate clinical placements in collaboration with NHS Trusts and healthcare partners, while providing pastoral and academic support to students, helping them thrive in complex and evolving healthcare environments. Your role will involve contributing to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of our programmes, undertaking administrative responsibilities, and actively engaging in research and scholarly activities.
Our section boasts exceptional facilities, including specialist rooms for radiotherapy dosimetry planning and the virtual environment radiotherapy training (VERT) treatment room -providing an outstanding environment for teaching and learning.
To succeed in this role, you will bring professional registration and substantial experience in Therapeutic Radiography, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is a commitment to research, innovation, and collaborative working.
You will be a registered Therapeutic Radiographer with substantial clinical experience and a passion for education, student support, and practice-based learning.
