in the future of our apprenticeships' learners, to join our team as IQA - Residential Childcare.
The role is remote with occasional travelling for meetings.
The Role:
As an Internal Quality Assurer you will be responsible for monitoring assessment judgements, developing our Coaches’ knowledge,
reviewing the standard of processes and procedures, and ensuring that assessment decisions are correct, ensuring that the service
provided is of high-quality.
The role will involve:
- Ensuring robust Internal Quality Assurance and best practice processes are in place and followed consistently, in line with the
internal quality assurance strategy across all Residential Childcare qualifications and contracts.
- Supporting the business, learners, and employers in achieving a timely and high success rate through continuous improvement
practices, working collaboratively with Operations Performance Managers, feeding back on risk and quality assurance practices.
- Working with the wider business to monitor management information to identify learners at risk of not achieving in a timely
manner and ensure that appropriate and timely actions are implemented to support achievement.
- Carrying out observation of teaching, learning and assessment in line with Ofsted‘s Education Inspection Framework and internal
quality assurance practices.

About You
- D32/33/A1/CAVA or equivalent
- IQA/V1 or equivalent
- Level 3 or above qualification in Residential Childcare
- At least a PTLLS/AET or similar teaching qualification
- Level 2 or equivalent in Functional skills Maths & English
- Experience and knowledge of delivering Residential Childcare qualifications including gateway and end point assessment
