The Role: Excellence in PedagogyWe are seeking a Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) who is an educator at heart. You will deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, thriving within our distinctive PBL model.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Innovative Teaching: Developing and applying cutting-edge materials and techniques that create interest, understanding, and enthusiasm amongst students.
- CurriculumDevelopment : Carrying out ongoing reviews of teaching content and contributing to the development of learning strategies.
- StudentSupport : Identifying student learning needs, defining objectives, and providing expert advice on best practices and learning problems.
- AcademicLeadership : Overseeing the delivery of interdisciplinary teaching and ensuring all activities comply with University quality standards.
While we welcome all qualified applicants, we are particularly interested in strengthening our expertise in Corporate and Commercial Law, Healthcare Law, Human Rights Law, Tort Law, and Environmental Law.

- Qualifications : A postgraduate degree in Law or a professional qualification (solicitor, barrister, or paralegal) in the law of England or Wales.
- Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of English Law and a range of teaching methodologies.
- Communication : Highly developed skills to engage effectively with a wide-ranging audience.
- Experience : Evidence of lecturing, leading seminars, and designing teaching across a range of modules in a Higher Education context.
