Carpentry Lecturer
Annual Salary: £26-£33 per hour

Job Type: Part-time (Thursdays and Fridays)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpentry Lecturer to join our team at the Bromley Campus. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for teaching and carpentry, aiming to inspire and educate students from Level 1 to Level 2 in carpentry skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach carpentry to students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 2.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the carpentry department.
- Deliver high-quality education and support students in achieving their career and life ambitions.
- Promote carpentry courses and the Construction curriculum at marketing events and through various channels.
- Engage with students effectively, using your industry experience to enhance learning outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in carpentry.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
- Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and articulating clearly to class groups.
- Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.
