As an HE Sports Lecturer, you will be part of the Faculty of HE Health, Education, and Sport, primarily focusing on our Pearson HNC and HND Sport programmes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver weekly classroom sessions at the Orpington campus, with occasional practical sports sessions at the Bromley campus.
- Provide high-quality teaching and assessment for our HNC and HND Sport programmes, supporting adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Guide and inspire learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for future study and employment.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, combining classroom-based and practical activities to ensure students successfully complete their studies and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a tutor in higher education, preferably in sports education.
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to adult learners.
- Strong understanding of the Pearson HNC and HND Sport curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and sports education.
