We are seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver high-quality training for the Teaching Assistant (Level 3) and Community Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) apprenticeship standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching apprenticeships, particularly in childcare or teaching assistant roles, and ideally with some healthcare experience.
Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing
- Part-time: 21.6 hours per week (3 days)
- Contract Duration: Until April 2026
- Location: London, East
- Working Days: Tuesday and Thursday, plus one additional day for marking
- Pay up to £35ph
Day-to-day of the role of Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality training sessions aligned with the apprenticeship standards.
- Coach, mentor, and support apprentices throughout their learning journey, providing tailored guidance and feedback.
- Conduct workplace observations/assessments and progress reviews with employers to evidence competence against standards.
- Track learner progress, set clear targets, and maintain accurate records in line with funding and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with employers to ensure apprentices apply skills effectively in their school settings.
- Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA) through mock assessments and structured development plans.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible training.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing:
- PGCE/CERTED or equivalent teaching qualification
