Shift pattern: 8:30am-5pm. Flexible Days, across Mon – Fri, 3 days per week (Total 22.5hrs).
Salary: £18,000 – £21,000 for working 3 days (22.5hrs) per week depending on experience.

We are recruiting for an MHE Trainer to join our team at our Dalston Factory. This is a permanent, part-time opportunity which will report into the Learning & Development Co-ordinator.
Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescafé, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffeemate.

Your impact
Your role will be to plan, organise, and deliver all MHE training to RTITB or equivalent standard for the Dalston Factory to ensure we maintain the competency of operational personnel. In addition, the role will also be responsible for the recording and administration of relevant competency documentation within personnels record.
Your other key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively drive our positive Safety & Quality Culture on site by following the required regulatory standards.
- Planning and delivering training courses to approved standards whilst continually look for ways to improve our MHE training and operational processes.
- Development of training aids and materials and management of training records through the required online tracking systems.
- Maintain compliance to all internal and external guidelines/standards
- Supporting the Manufacturing Capability Specialist with additional onboarding and admin tasks.
Your ingredients for success
It will be essential for the candidate coming into this role to be already qualified with a recognised body in some MHE equipment. We can facilitate additional equipment training courses but knowledge of MHE is essential.
Essential skills for the role:
- Experience of warehouse and/or manufacturing processes.
- Experience of operating assorted MHE
- An understanding of training compliance and competency requirements
- An awareness of Health & Safety
Desirable skills for the role:
- IOSH Working/Managing safely or equivalent
- Experience in PUWER
- PTLLS qualification or equivalent
