This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require at least once a week travel into either our Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham campus. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.
Travel will be required into the following locations either:
- Leeds campus
- Manchester campus
- Birmingham campus

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to lead, develop, and enhance our planned social care programs. Join our vibrant academic community and make a significant impact on student success and program excellence in the School of Health & Care Management (PG).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Innovate: Drive the development and delivery of high-quality programmes, ensuring outstanding student outcomes and curriculum enhancement.
- Quality Management: Manage and enhance programme quality, securing accreditation from relevant professional bodies.
- Academic Leadership: Collaborate with Deans, Heads, and Lecturers to implement university strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Program and Module Leadership: Take charge of key programmes and modules, guiding large student cohorts and managing lecturer teams.
- Research and Scholarship: Engage in research activities to advance your field and contribute to our institution's academic reputation.
- Teaching responsibilities.
About You:
We would like to hear from applicants who have:
- A recognised HE teaching qualification and/or Advance HE Fellowship at FHEA/SFHEA level or willingness to gain within 12 months of appointment
- The ability to develop and enhance existing programmes, modules or short courses to ensure currency and high levels of student outcomes
- Significant and successful track record of teaching, learning and assessment practise in a relevant discipline/subject at different HE levels
