An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Digital Department of NHS Golden Jubilee University Hospital. As the Digital Senior Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s digital transformation by leading the development and delivery of training programmes that empower staff to confidently use digital systems across the Board — comprising the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Research Institute, Innovation Centre, and Conference Hotel.
The post holder will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of training aligned with the NHS Golden Jubilee Digital Strategy. Working within the ITIL Service Management Framework and in close collaboration with the Digital Application Team, you will ensure that training supports both operational excellence and strategic objectives.
In addition to delivering training, the Digital Senior Trainer will provide line management and professional support to the Digital Trainer, ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across all training activities. You will work closely with the Digital Transformation Lead and other senior stakeholders to assess organisational training needs, develop tailored learning resources, and lead initiatives that build digital capability across clinical and non-clinical teams.
The services provided by the post holder have a direct and immediate impact on the continuity of patient care and the successful adoption of digital tools and processes across NHS Golden Jubilee.
Applicants should be educated to Degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. education, digital technologies, or healthcare informatics), or demonstrate equivalent experience in delivering and managing training within a technical or healthcare setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a deep understanding of digital systems and a commitment to supporting others through change.
