Early Years Tutor Assessor

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who enjoys mentoring, assessing, and supporting learners to achieve their qualifications.

Work from home while supporting the next generation of Early Years professionals! We are recruiting an experienced Early Years Tutor Assessor for a well-established training provider. The role is home-based with travel to nursery settings across the West Midlands for assessments and observations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and assess Early Years Apprenticeships Levels 2, 3, and ideally Level 5
Conduct workplace observations within nursery settings
Deliver remote learning and one-to-one tutorials
Complete assessments, progress reviews, and learner tracking
Maintain OneFile portfolios
Deliver and assess Functional Skills Maths, English, ICT up to Level 2
Support learners through End Point Assessment
Work with nursery managers and mentors
Ensure accurate learner documentation and compliance

Essential Requirements:

Assessor qualification: D32/D33, A1, TAQA, or CAVA(or working towards)
Teaching qualification: Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Education and Training(or equivalent)
Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
Experience delivering Early Years Apprenticeships Levels 2 & 3; Level 5 desirable
Experience delivering Functional Skills up to Level 2
Strong occupational competence in Early Years
IT & admin skills, full UK driving licence+ vehicle
