An established and well-respected FE college in Chelmsford is seeking a Gas & Plumbing Lecturer to join their construction and building services department. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced lecturer who wants a stable, rewarding role with real impact.
The Role:
Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons in Gas and Plumbing
Teach learners across FE levels (Level 1–3)
Prepare students for industry standards, qualifications and employment
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
Industry experience in Gas and/or Plumbing
Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to work towards one)
Strong communication skills and a passion for education
Gas Safe registration (desirable but not essential depending on delivery area)
