We are a growing multi-site organisation deliveringwraparound childcare (including EYFS) andapprenticeships & training provision. With over
30 settingsand continued expansion, we are recruiting a senior compliance professional to lead Ofsted childcare inspections and quality assurance and support on Ofsted readiness on our apprenticeships and training provision.
This is a leadership role focused onassurance, improvement, and inspection confidence— not administration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supportOfsted childcare inspections
- Carry outtermly compliance and quality auditsacross multiple settings
- Develop and monitorsite-level Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)following audits and inspections
- Support managers and staff development to improve practice and confidence
- Provideassurance and audit oversightof staff qualifications, training, DBS and safer recruitment (records maintained centrally)
- Maintain inspection-ready evidence packs for childcare and training provision
- SupportOfsted readiness administrationfor apprenticeship and training provision
- Take part insetting appraisals and performance reviewswith the Operations team
- Track actions, risks, and improvements and report to senior leadership
- Proven experience leading Ofsted childcare inspections
- Strong knowledge ofEYFS, Compulsory Childcare register, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations
- Experience auditing or quality-assuring childcare or education provision
- Confident supporting and challenging managers / practioners to improve practice
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and credible
- Willingness to travel regularly between sites (based across Beds, Bucks, Herts, Oxford, Northants)
- DSL qualification or safeguarding leadership experience
- Experience supporting Ofsted inspections in training/apprenticeships
