Progression Teacher (GCSE Maths)
Hourly Rate: £37 - £40
Location: Dorset
Job Type: Part-time (Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays)

Contract End Date: Until Easter
We are urgently seeking an experienced Pastoral Teacher who can deliver GCSE Maths to students with special educational needs (SEN). This part-time role is based in Dorset and requires immediate start, continuing until Easter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a passion for supporting student progress.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths lessons to SEN students.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to help students achieve their full potential.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN coordinators to enhance student learning experiences.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching GCSE Maths.
- Strong pastoral care skills with the ability to support and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
