Experteer Overview
You will advance innovative research and education focused on care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Working with the Chair, you contribute to the NIHR ICICLE programme, help shape grant proposals, and supervise research teams. You will also teach and supervise PhD and MSc students, contributing to a strong culture of evidence-based practice. This fixed-term role blends research leadership with education in the Cicely Saunders Institute, offering impact at clinical and policy levels.

Tasks
- PhD or medical equivalent
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications and international presentations
- Evidence of ability to secure research grant funding
- Experience with health services or clinical research methods and intervention development
- Experience in PhD supervision and student mentoring
- Knowledge of Research Ethics and governance procedures within the UK NHS
