About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, professional Sports Lecturer to join the delivery team at a well-established further education provider in Northamptonshire. This temporary role will cover a long-term absence and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive academic environment with a varied learner cohort. You will deliver practical and theory-based sport sessions, assess learner progress, and contribute to a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality sport lessons to learners at various levels
- Plan and assess engaging and inclusive sessions
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support learner development both inside and outside the classroom
- Work collaboratively with the wider academic team
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant sport-related subject (minimum BSc)
- Ideally, some previous teaching or further education experience
- Passionate about sport and learner engagement
- A current DBS or willing to have one added to the update service
- Strong communication and organisational skills
