We are seeking a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join our client's educational team, delivering engaging and insightful lessons across various levels of sociology, including GCSE and AS/A2 levels. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sociology and education, ready to start immediately in West London.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver sociology lessons effectively across different educational levels:
- GCSE Sociology: 4 hours per week
- AS Sociology: 15 hours per week
- A2 Sociology: 5 hours per week
- Total: 24 hours across Monday to Friday
- Prepare and deliver lessons that are engaging and comprehensible to students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sociology Teacher.
- Familiarity with the AQA exam board and its requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to educational excellence.
