Location: Hybrid role facilitating training, supporting, and coaching experts with lived experience at various locations throughout Sussex and occasionally other parts of the south‑east.
Salary: £200 per day

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Oliver McGowan Facilitator Trainers to join our award‑winning team to work across Sussex. Active Prospects is a leading charitable social care and training provider and the lead organisation for the Care Talent Collective, leading the rollout of Oliver McGowan training in Surrey and Sussex.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver new learning disability and autism training (Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training) to health and social care professionals.
- Support and coach co‑trainers who are experts with lived experience in autism and learning disability.
- Lead and manage training sessions, ensuring engagement, relevance and quality outcomes.
- Share courses with team of trainers to reduce travel and support work‑life balance.
Qualifications:
- In‑depth understanding of learning disability and autism.
- Experience of training delivery, preferably in a health or social care setting.
- Passion, compassion and excellent facilitation skills.
- Qualification as an Oliver McGowan Facilitator Trainer is preferred; if not qualified, we will provide training but completion is required to keep the offer.
