The Role :
- To provide high level, accurate administrative support to the Deputy Director of Business development and Head of Apprenticeships.
- To support all aspects of the department in particular the Apprenticeship Team.
- To maintain robust tracking and monitoring systems in order to supply the most up to date information on all Apprentices.
- To aid / assist the Deputy and Managers within the team in order to maintain communications and implement and enhance the profile of the Business Development area and the wider college strategy.
- To liaise with Apprentices, Teachers / Assessor and Employers in order to gather the most up to date information regarding the Apprentice progress of their Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the Deputy Director Apprenticeship and Business Development and Head of Apprenticeships in order to promote an excellent professional ambassador of the college when carrying out the reviews on ApprenticesTo meet with employers of Apprentices, both face to face and via TEAMS in order to ascertain a good working relationship whilst tracking the progress of individual Apprentice within one or more specialismsTo record up to date information accurately and proficiently using college systemTo travel between college campuses when required and to assist in all eventsBe willing to undertake training on all college wide systems in order to aid the smooth running to the busy Apprenticeships and Business Development areaTo participate in regular meetings and maintain contact and report any issues direct to your line manager.Maintain and update all essential documentation including learner files to the required standard in a timely manner
Who You Are :
Be proficient in the use of Word and Edexcel spreadsheetsTo have excellent communication skills when meeting with Apprentices Teachers / Assessors and Employers in order to gather up to date information for the progress review on individual ApprenticesGCSE A* - C, GCSE Level 4 / 5 or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and EnglishExcellent writing and speaking communication skillsGood interpersonal skills, able to work in a team and engage with others in a friendly mannerAbility to meet tight deadlines and work flexibly and responsively across different campusesTo be flexible and highly motivated with the ability to be able to respond to changeIt would be of an advantage if you have a full driving licence and have use of a car.
