The Department of Small Animal Clinical Science, School of Veterinary Science, University of Liverpool seeks to appoint a veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or eligible to be registered by start of appointment) with extensive experience of small animal anaesthesia in a hospital setting.
This is an academic position with the primary role around clinical teaching and the caseload on which it is dependant and as such, this post should be attractive to experienced colleagues who have undergone specialist veterinary anaesthesia training and hold or are eligible to be examined for a Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia (ECVAA/ACVAA or equivalent).
You will have a genuine interest in an academic career, and an interest and experience in both teaching and clinical research. The role is to provide and develop clinical services in small animal anaesthesia, to maintain and develop excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate student experience and carry out clinical research to support clinical and teaching activities.
