The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer in Uniformed Protective Services. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop a high-quality curriculum, inspiring students to succeed in careers within the uniformed services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students. Specific duties will include:
- Delivering inclusive and high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Assisting with curriculum design, development, and quality improvement.
- Monitoring and supporting student recruitment, progress, achievement, and progression.
- Using B&FC systems (e.g. VLE, progress tracking) to enable student success.
- Participating in recruitment activities such as interviews, open days, and events.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and effective pedagogies.
- Contributing to the academic community through professional practice and scholarship.
