About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Operations and Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll manage apprenticeship recruitment, coordinate STEM engagement activities, and ensure the smooth operational delivery of training programmes. You’ll play a key part in supporting learners, engaging with employers, and promoting our apprenticeship offering.
What You’ll Do
Manage the pipeline of apprentice applicants and provide employability advice and guidance.
Lead open evenings and attraction events at the training centre.
Coordinate STEM and outreach activities with schools and education partners.
Work closely with marketing colleagues to promote apprenticeship programmes.
Support employer partners with apprentice recruitment.
Oversee operational coordination of training programmes, including inductions and learner reviews.
Maintain learner administration and data in line with compliance requirements.
Provide pastoral care, safeguarding, and mentoring for learners.
Liaise with external organisations and employer partners to ensure a seamless learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
GCSEs (Maths & English grade 4/C or above) and Level 2 Functional Skills.
Qualification in employability and/or Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance.
Understanding of the engineering sector and apprenticeship standards.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with learner management systems is desirable.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.
Full commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing.
Desirable: Experience in apprentice recruitment, STEM engagement, and event organisation.
