English Lecturer
Hourly Rate: 30-35p/h

We are urgently seeking an English Lecturer to join our team across both North London campuses. This role involves delivering GCSE and Functional Skills English classes. The successful candidate must be available to start immediately and be registered on the DBS update service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to GCSE and Functional Skills students.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Travel between the Barnet and Colindale campuses according to the timetable.

- 13:30–15:00 1 hr 30 min
- Total: 3 hours
- Tuesday
- 13:30–15:00 1 hr 30 min
- Total: 1.5 hours
- Wednesday
- 11:00–12:30 1 hr 30 min
- Total: 1.5 hours
- Thursday
- 09:15–10:45 1 hr 30 min
- 15:15–16:45 1 hr 30 min
- Total: 3 hours
- Friday
- 09:15–10:45 1 hr 30 min
- 11:00–12:30 1 hr 30 min
- 13:30–15:00 1 hr 30 min
- Total: 4.5 hours
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in English or a related field.
- Teaching qualification relevant to the subject area.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must be registered.
