Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality GCSE English lessons.

Assess and monitor student progress by providing constructive feedback and support their development.

Criteria:

Essential criteria:

Level 4/equivalent qualification in English Language/Literature.
PTTLS, City and Guilds 7407, Certificate in Education, DTLLS or equivalent or PGCE or working towards relevant qualifications that allow for effective teaching of the subject matter.
Experience of teaching GCSE English Subjects.
Experience of teaching 16–18 and 19+ learners.

Desirable criteria:

Degree or equivalent
Qualification in English Language/Literature
Assessor Award
Experience of coordinating exams
