Day-to-day of the role of a Health and Social Care Lecturer:
- Design and deliver engaging teaching materials, including slides and classroom activities, utilising existing resources where possible.
- Conduct lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Mark learners' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Use technology and virtual learning tools effectively to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Health and Social Care Lecturer role:
- To hold a recognised teaching qualification.
- To deliver levels 3 BTEC and T level courses to learners 16+.
- Proficient in current Maths and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Open-minded and positive attitude towards the use of technology in education.
