The Role:
You’ll teach Business from Level 1 to Level 3, including T Levels, shaping a curriculum that feels current, relevant, and grounded in industry practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that connects theory to real-world scenarios
- Creating resources, projects, and activities that spark interest and build practical skills
- Assessing learner progress and giving meaningful, timely feedback
- Supporting students individually to build confidence, independence, and ambition
- Contributing to curriculum development and ensuring high-quality provision
- Embedding Maths, English, employability, and digital skills
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of business trends and workplace expectations
- Building links with employers and industry partners to enhance the student experience

Salary Range: £26,904 - £43,110

⭐ Progression Opportunity – Curriculum Leader Role
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to be considered for the Curriculum Leader role within the Business & Accounting department.
This developmental leadership role includes:
- 3.5 hours per week remission (126 hours per academic year)
- £1,500 annual honorarium
- No line-management responsibilities — perfect for aspiring leaders
Curriculum Leaders work closely with the Curriculum Manager to:
- support quality assurance and achievement across the department
- ensure strong assessment practice, internal verification, and preparation for EV/SV visits
- help maintain high-quality documentation, coursework standards, and learner progress tracking
- contribute to CPD, learning walks, attendance monitoring, and learner voice initiatives
- collaborate with industry partners to keep the curriculum relevant
